Whereas the cultivation, processing and commercialization of coffee is the most significant economic activity in our country and represents twenty-seven point eight percent (27.8%) of the country's Agricultural Gross Domestic Product (PIBA), benefits more than one hundred twenty thousand (120,000) producing families, employs more than one million people and generated twenty-seven point nine percent (27.9%) of the agricultural sector's foreign exchange for the year 2020, since this item was severely affected by the climatic phenomena that affected the country.
