Summary
This errata slip corrects an error in the Judicial Council Law. It modifies requirements for judicial positions: lawyers need 5 years of judicial experience, while professionals from other fields require 10 years practicing their profession or teaching. The correction takes effect upon publication.

This Decree shall enter into force as of the date of its publication in the Official Gazette "La Gaceta". Done in the City of Tegucigalpa, Municipality of the Central District, in the Session Hall of the National Congress, on the Fourteenth day of the month of December of Two Thousand Eleven. JUDICIARY AND THE JUDICIAL CAREER: we detail the following: On page A 3 of the Official Gazette La Gaceta Article 8, in subsection b) where it reads: "i) To have held a jurisdictional position for five (5) years or if he or she had engaged in university teaching in the field of Law for ten (10) years". Should be read as follows: i) To have held a jurisdictional position for five (5) years in the case of Law professionals; this requirement for other university careers shall be ten (10) years in the practice of the profession or teaching.
